A Guide to the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre

The Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC) is a globally recognised conference and exhibition venue and are commonly used for a variety of exhibitions and conferences. The Centre is located in one of the plushest parts of Dubai and is also a part of the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

The Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre is strategically located between the old city and new city and what makes the Centre even more convenient is the fact that it disabled friendly and has excellent facilities all round. The Centre is located only 15 minutes away from the Dubai International Airport and 30 minutes from the new Jebel Ali Airport, making the venue a highly convenient one for those who are flying in for the exhibition.

DICEC has 60,000 square meters of fully equipped exhibition space, which is equipped with world-class facilities that are designed to cater to every possible need of both the exhibitor and the visitors. The Centre can be used to host various events such as business conferences, exhibitions, workshops, product launches, as well as live concerts, sports competitions, award functions and even weddings.

In the past, DICEC has hosted exhibitions including the World Air Cargo Conference and Exhibition, the Dubai Wood show, the International Spring Trade Fair, the In Retail Exhibition, GITEX (an international trade fair for IT), the International Trade Exhibition for Chemicals and many more. The DICEC has also hosted other popular shows like the Leaders in Dubai and the International Road Union meetings.
Later this year, DICEC will also host the following:
- Beautyworld, Wellness and Spa Exhibition
- Light Middle East 2008
- The ISH Kitchen and Bath Exhibition 2008
- The Garden, Landscaping Outdoor Living Exhibition 2008
- Chem Middle East Exhibition
- Hardware and Tools 2008 and the Arab Health Exhibition and Congress 2008.
