In today's society, it feels that one is bombarded with statistics on keeping fit, and weight problems. Always bear in mind that one's weight is not absolute indicator as to how in good health one is.

That said it's obvious to say and that weight does have an effect, chiefly if one is obese, but still this isn't the end of the universe and there's still hope.

The correct way to guess how fit one is to test endurance levels one has and how much training one can carry out without getting exhausted. It's easily noticeable as one joins an exercise program and starts to get fitter the weight will start coming off.

Eating right is an important part of losing weight, but it is not most important way to achieve weight loss. If the aim is to become slender and not to again put on weight, one would need to examine the amount of exercise one gets. Diet is important too but what's more important is to burn off the calories one gets off food, so long one is able to work out enough to burn ample calories one can have anything one likes . Finding time in one's daily schedule and consuming
healthy foods, are two different sides of the same coin and they have to go together.

Exercise not only burns fat but also helps one achieve shape and power it builds up variousmuscle groupsit's not advisable to begin dieting without exercise because if that is carried out one burns muscles and not fat, leading to weight loss but not fat loss, and in fact the body will burn significantly less fat as there is less of muscle mass now, which would translate to harder to lose weight in future if ever one needs to.
Remember getting fit takes time and patience and both exercise as well as watching one's diet goes hand in hand.
