The Cleaning Show 2009 which has been scheduled to take place between 10th to 12th March 2009 at the NEC, Birmingham is organised once every two years by the BCCE, a company which is jointly owned by the British Cleaning Council and Quartz Publishing and Exhibitions. Sponsored by all members of the British Cleaning Council and Cleaning and Maintenance Magazine, the event focuses on promoting of the cleaning industry's interests and opens an international platform for manufacturers and sellers, who can launch, market and sell their products and services to an international consumer group.

An internationally recognized event, the Cleaning Show is an ideal place for exhibitors as it is managed by a professional team with exhibition expertise as well as extensive knowledge in regards to the cleaning industry. The Cleaning Show 2009 aims to ensure an influx of high quality attendance by decision makers from industries like Contract cleaners and Support service companies, and therefore has plans to intimate a list of important executives through direct mail in an effort to secure more business opportunities for exhibitors and buyers.

Apart from campaigns from media partner Cleaning and Maintenance, other relevant magazines will also promote this event and give extensive coverage to the show. While the Cleaning and Maintenance Magazine has a readership of 72%, its closest competitor has a readership of only 34%.
Since the exhibition is to be hosted at NEC Birmingham, one of the world's premier exhibition venues, the Cleaning Show is all the more likely to attract more visitors than usual. With halls 19 and 20 of the NEC in use, the venue will cater to various business needs by supplying conference areas and hospitality suites to enhance the value of interactive meetings.

Also, the venue is easily accessible through direct links from the UK motorway network, an underway connection to the Birmingham International Station which will take visitors a few minutes by walk, not to mention the venue's proximity to the Birmingham International Airport.

While road, rail and air transport are easily accessible, the NEC also has car parking areas which has shuttle buses to convey visitors to and from the halls which are at a distance. With plenty of accommodation options in Birmingham, many of which are at close distances to the NEC, visitors will find that hotels are available for all budgets. However, considering the popularity of the show and the venue, it would be advisable for visitors to book in advance.

Keeping in mind the nature of this exhibition and its high potential for business opportunities, children below the age of 16 are not allowed inside the venue. Apart from high quality direct communication with customers, the Cleaning Show creates an opportunity for also building direct relationships with real customers.
