How To Make Sales Online Even Without A Website

By: Steve Beck

Yesterday I found some new products for our niche. Now I need to get the word out to my customers, to tell them about my great new products. Using e-mails, a blog, and my website, I'll spread the word. This article will show you how to make sales online using these tools.

An email is by far the easiest way to tell people about what you have to offer. And if you are selling affiliate products, you don't even need a website or a blog. All you have to do is put your affiliate link in your email and when your readers click on the link, they will be taken to the product web page and if they buy, you will get a commission.

A blog is the next easiest way to display your products. You don't need web hosting, a domain name or even a web page. All you do is sign up for a free account at blogger.com, create your blog and then show people what you have. With a free blog, you can sell physical products, information products or even affiliate products.

The final way to display your wares is a web page. A web page gives you more control and flexibility than a blog. And this is where a lot of people make a HUGE mistake.

The most profitable website is the single-page site (also known as the Sales Letter). The average website is full of products, with dozens of links that divert customers before they even know what's on the site.

The single-page website focuses on only one thing - your product. Accentuate the positive by telling your customers exactly how your product will improve their lives. Leave out all those buttons and links that whisk customers to other sites before they have the chance to fully appreciate your product's value.

To buy, or not to buy - that is the question in the hearts and minds of your customers. If they are confused and distracted, they won't buy. Once they arrive on your product page, don't give them a reason to leave. Make it inviting, and give them a reason to buy.
