How to Handle Any Obstacle That Gets In Your Way

By: Joshua Smith Jones

Woody Allen said 80% of winning was showing up. There is some truth to that. I think when it comes to achieving your destiny, 80% of it is sticking around after everyone else leaves.

It's all about persistence. I know a lot of people, who are not very intelligent, had very few opportunities, grew up poor and without resources but still did amazing things simply because they never gave up.

How is it possible?

I've modeled these people, and I have found they all have one thing in common: they know how to slip into a state of resourcefulness. See, it's not that they don't encounter the same obstacles and challenges that you and I do.

No.

It's just that they know how to find solutions when challenges come up. They go around obstacles. Over them. Under them. Sometimes right through them.

How can you adopt this same mind state of resourcefulness? It's very hard to do consciously.

Oppenheimer, a famous scientist said you can't change a problem with the same consciousness you used to create it.

And you the same is true about consciously trying to change your consciousness.

Instead, you need to do the work at the unconscious level. There is an actual 7 step process on how to do this. But knowing isn't enough, because if you're like most people, you're conditioned to respond mostly to avoid pain

instead of to gain pleasure.

So how do you change that decision making strategy? Actually, it's simple with the right technology. See, your conscious mind is your enemy. It gets in your way. It makes you ponder, which can lead to hesitation or

procrastination.

A system is something that works mechanically. I like push button systems the best. In this case, it doesn't matter who is running it, it doesn't matter how they feel, and it doesn't matter what they know... as long as they push the button, the outcome is the same.
