Magic Coin Tricks Even You Can Do

Magic coin tricks are a lot of fun, and fortunately they're not that hard to learn. Yes, it will take you some time to learn do perform them perfectly, but it's worth doing.

For this magic coin trick you will need two coins. I recommend that you use a penny and a nickel.

To begin this trick, you will need one of the coins in the hand of someone in your audience. They will need to hold the coin with their palm facing upward with the coin sitting in the hand.

You will then explain to the person that you will grab the coin before they can close their fingers around it. You will hold your hand with your fingers slightly separated over the palm of the person with the coin.

Using your thumb and first three fingers, you will very quickly try to take the coin.

Your volunteer is going to think they can be a lot faster than you. They'll be further encouraged when they still feel this circular, flat object in the palm of their hand. But, it turns out to be another coin!

Learning magic coin tricks can be really fun, but sometimes you need someone to know the trick to be able to practice it effectively. Ask a friend to help you who you know will not reveal how the trick is done.

Do begin, put the coin on the palm of your friend's hand and then put the other coin in your hand, right in that crease between the forefinger and thumb. Now position your hand so it looks as if you're going to grab for the other person's coin.

As you begin to snatch up the coin in your friend's hand, tell your friend to slowly close their hand because you are still learning how to do this. You will then pick up the coin and quickly drop the other coin at the exact same time into their palm from your hand.

Now tell your friend to close up their hand. As you keep practicing, you'll get better and faster at it. Your friend will then be able to close their hand as fast as they possibly can.

After you have the coin trick down, you can try it out in front of an audience. Do not close the trick by showing you have the coin that was originally in their hand. Let them open up their fist and see that they have a different coin than the one they started out with.

Magic coin tricks are a favorite for kids. This is a great trick to use when kids are going to make the bulk of your audience.
