Most mlm training is much too focused on clever techniques, memorizng scripts, and being able to explain a compensation plan. Certainly, these areas are important. But they pale in comparison to the power of establishing trust with your network marketing prospects. This article will outline strategies for winning your prospect's respect and trust.

In order for your prospect to trust you, they must believe that you have their best interests in mind. And, guess what, you SHOULD have their best interests in mind!The only way you are going to find out what their best interests are is to ask questions. Get to know them. Find out what they want.

When a prospect believes that you can help him get what he wants, he will trust you!

To establish trust quickly, your total focus must be on the prospect. You should be doing very little talking, and a WHOLE lot of listening! Ask questions that must be answered fully, not simply with a "yes" or a "no". Questions that require full answers generally start with words such as "how" or "tell me".

You goal is to determine how the products that your company offers, can help satisfy your prospect's wants and needs. Determine how your prospect can BENEFIT from your products.

THAT is the key!

Of course, your prospect may not be interested in your mlm products. They may be only interested in the business opportunity. You would have determined that early on by asking the right questions.

Only after asking questions and listening to your prospect's responses, should you do any signifficant amount of talking. You will now link your customer's wants and needs to the benefits that your company offers.

People are ALWAYS interested in what benefits them. ALWAYS!

In conclusion, for customers to trust you, they must like and respect you. Be sure to respect your prospect's time. Make sure that you are not imposing on them. Show interest in their lives, and soon they will view you as a trusted resource.
