Mountain biking is one of the most adventurous sports of all the others in which numerous people take part from the various parts of the world.

The best part of mountain biking is that you can also tour along the real countryside with its real hospitality and beauty. it is perhaps the best way to visit the beautiful countryside. But it is not as simple as you are thinking. There are various things that have to be thought and taken care off while taking part in the mountain biking events. There are many events that are organized for the various purposes such as a charity event, bike events etc. Other than riding the bike properly and carefully, there are numerous points that you must remember. Thus to help you with this, here are a few essential tips on mountain biking.

1 The first thing that you should remember is that you should perform a proper research about the climate and road conditions of the place where the Bike Event will be conducted. Thus train yourself under the same circumstances so that you know how to handle the problems when you face them in the real race.

2 Regularly get your bike serviced so as to maintain its good conditions. Also make sure that just before the bike event, you should get your bike serviced properly just before a few weeks of the final race so that nothing goes wrong on the final day.

3 Before the event starts, check your bike properly and ensure that there are no problems in its mechanism. Under any circumstances, always keep an extra bike if incase something goes wrong.

4 During the training session, use the energy bars and energy drinks for instant energy just the way you would be using during the event so as to prevent any type of mishaps or health problems.

5 Keep a chamoix cream or Vaseline during the longer rides in order to reduce the chafing while biking.

6 On the event day, reach early at the event position to know about the changes and important news about the weather and circumstances. It is always better to be prepared before hand for all types of problems. Also check the bike for its brakes, chain, gears etc.

7 Always have a support group to help you get your things ready for the race. Make sure that you don't miss out the important things.

8 Remember the map of the event and don't depend on the racers ahead of you.

9 Keep your nerves and don't get too excited about the race. Put your concentration in the race and don't mess up at the racing line.
