Are the Wealthy Affiliate scam rumors a hype or a real university for affiliate marketers to learn their craft? It is an honest question that pops up in more than a few marketing forums from time to time.

First, let's take a closer look at affiliate marketing. Today there might be close to a million affiliate marketers who are online doing their own thing. Before your jaw drops, out of this million figure, many of these marketers only dabble in the affiliate field. Affiliate marketing is not something to jump into and quit your day job over. Not yet, anyway. Wait until it takes off before relying on this as your full time career.

Affiliate marketing is one of those playing fields that is played out on even ground. Everyone has the same opportunities to make a very lucrative income doing this for a living. You are an independent contractor that affiliates for a company to market their products or services.
